How:  Go to the setup, and in the Quick Find box, enter Installed Packages, and then select them. Click on the “Subscriptions and Renewals” tab. If the “Use Legacy Amend/Renew Service” is selected, then deselect it, and select “Amend Contracts in Background.”

Switching to Large-Scale Amendment and Renewal Service made easy.

Before the Salesforce Spring ’21 release, if the field names in your contracts were too long, you could not switch back from the Legacy Renew/Amend Service to the Salesforce CPQ Large-Scale Amendment and Renewal Service.
