Salesforce Sustainability cloud | Most Eco-Friendly Tool in the Shed

Salesforce Sustainability Cloud

With a steep rise in industrial growth all across the world, every year, the carbon emission rates significantly increase from the previous. Such a scenario has made industrialists worry about the Earth and its future. Acknowledging this deteriorating situation, Salesforce has come up with Sustainability Cloud to aid the enterprises willing to make a change. Salesforce Sustainability Cloud is a vertical-specific product that is designed to monitor the carbon emission. It helps companies analyze and report the emission data, so they can effectively reduce their consumption to build a pollution-free environment.

Introduction to Salesforce Sustainability Cloud

The World’s #1 CRM has now come up with a great piece of eco-friendly technology. The recent increase in factory emission rates and toxic waste might have worsened the pollution level of our planet. However, now with Salesforce, we can try to reverse what is done or at least compensate for what we have done. With the launch of Sustainability Cloud, Salesforce would finally set its foot into the domain of environmental sustainability. The announcement of its release on 18th September has become the buzz around the boardrooms. Salesforce’s sustainability Cloud is set to monitor the overall energy consumption, carbon emissions, and renewable energy usage for its customers. It will be available by the end of the year for customers. Salesforce has taken advantage of its Einstein Analytics to crack this one. Sustainability Cloud equipped with Einstein Analytics can calculate the carbon emission, analyze numbers, and swiftly give out accurate environmental reports for auditing and executive engagement purposes. These abilities make the enterprise able to make informed decisions to reduce their carbon emissions. Also, it is capable of driving climate change programs at massive scale.

Praise the leap, but don’t forget the leaper:

Shengyuan Su, Sustainability Program Manager, is the person responsible for executing the ideology of using cloud technology for not Humans, but Earth’s benefit. Patrick Flynn assigned Shengyuan Su the task of managing Carbon emission records with something better than spreadsheets to increase productivity. Despite being a beginner herself, she managed to bring up a remarkable result by shrinking the process down from 6 months to 6 weeks. Shengyuan Su experimented with Einstien Analytics to represent reports, analysis, and dashboards. Implementing drive analytics to help in monitoring the carbon activities for auditing and management purposes. Even beyond auditing, Salesforce’s Sustainability Cloud is promising to make usage of the collected data like predicting energy usage as well.

Conclusion:

Without a doubt, Salesforce’s Sustainability Cloud is going to be a major tool for the reduction of eco-footprints. Salesforce has made business handlers from all across the globe to rethink their business models and spend more efforts on tracking their emission and pollutant wastage. Salesforce seems to be visually confident with Sustainability Cloud. The product Sustainability cloud is highly potent and promising when it comes to the future of environmental health. Not only Salesforce has provided its customers with a product to manage their carbon emissions but also taking sustainable actions. It has committed to providing carbon-neutral clouds to its customers, and by 2022 to operate on 100% renewable energy.
